For those of you who don't know, I dried my wedding bouquet and made it into a shadowbox. I love it...and I always promised Rochelle I'd dry hers and create one for her too. Well, I read up on how to dry orchids, and the process is NOT the same as roses. Thank God I checked! Anyways, you dry them with layers of silica gel in the microwave! Who would have thought?
I also dried some of my bouquet (hydrangeas and a few other blue flowers) as accents if she wants them. I'll have to post a picture of the finished product once it is assembled. (And let's hope no one decides to come check out our house, as I have an entire counter filled with individual dried flowers).
