House and Tessa Update

Sorry I have been MIA.  It's been a crazy week, as expected, but we now have sold and bought a home.  My mom watched Tessa for a few hours last night so we could close on the new house and drive up and empty out Tessa's sitter's garage.  (She's been kind enough to let me bring a load of boxes each day to her garage, which is right around the corner from the new house).

The warm weather we'd been having was so nice!  Tessa is so happy outside, and so we spent a lot of time at the park.  She can now climb up to the slide and loves going down on my lap (The video of that wouldn't load for some reason).  Anyways, she also loves the swing.  Usually she squeals for awhile and every time she gets close to her pushee and you make a funny face, she shrieks.

On other house news, Nate is very excited about his new HD antenna.  He bought it from Best Buy for less than ten dollars.  He hooked it up to our TV and we are able to get 35 FREE channels in HD...yep, that's right...no more cable bill.  Yea!  We are very happy about the $10 investment.  You should have heard Nate's scream when it worked.  His excitement rubbed off on Tessa, who also started shrieking with delight, not knowing why.  The only thing I'm really going to miss about cable is DVR, but we haven't had cable for two weeks now, and I actually haven't missed it much.  I'll take some pictures of the new house once our furniture arrives.  Moving day is Friday.  We have movers, and Nate will be making some trips as well.  I will be working.  My team already had a field trip scheduled for that day that I had pretty much planned, so I'll be there.  I do have a personal day on Monday; I'll be unpacking.
