Tessa loves the new table Grandma and PawPaw got for her playroom. Not only is it adorable and a cute color combination, but mommy and daddy can actually sit in the chairs without breaking them. (You'd know what I mean if you saw her old table and chair set).
As for baby boy, I had a not-so-great-but-ended-up-being-fine appointment this week. I was scheduled for my glucose test, rescheduled due to snow and finally took it on Thursday. I saw a new doc in my practice and right away, they were concerned about my blood pressure. It was a lot higher than it normally is, and in fact they checked it three different times to be sure. That, combined with not feeling a ton of movement, prompted him to hook me up to the fetal heartrate and movement monitor. On a positive, baby looked great on the monitor and was moving a lot - I just wasn't feeling most of them. Then, the nurse told me when she drew my blood they would only call me if I didn't pass the glucose tolerance test and needed to take the three-hour test. Lo and behold, I receive a phone call the next day from the doctor's office. Groaning, I answer it, but thankfully, they were calling to tell me the results were normal, so no three-hour test for me! So anyways, it seemed like there was a lot wrong, but in reality, baby boy is doing just fine and my blood pressure was down on Friday (thanks to my school's nurse for checking it). He is measuring right on track...and we even discussed a possible induction the weekend before my due date when my whole family will be in town. Yeah! There is an end in sight...
