Parky's Wet Playground and Potty Training

I blogged last week about a play date with Tessa that ended in tears when the Pull-up wouldn't go on just right for her. Well these are some pictures of happier times, before she couldn't do the Pull-Up.

Playing at Parky's at Winton Woods:

She loved it even more that last year and had a ton of fun! Ironically, she would go down the slide last year, but this year was scared of it. She kept walking up to the top but then wouldn't go down. Eventually she did it twice, but made me hold her hand until I couldn't hold on anymore.

As for those Pull-Ups, we are well on our way to where we were with potty training before Morgan was born. Tessa really, really wants a big dollhouse for Christmas. (Sidenote: she will be getting one. I am working on it while she naps). She totally gets the whole Santa thing and now will do all of the following by herself: go potty, wipe, put the Pull-Up back on, get dressed, wash her hands, turn the water off. It is pretty impressive. Then, after she's done she wants Mommy to call Santa and tell him that she went potty again. I'm a little sick of calling Santa and acting excited (I always tell her which room Santa was working on when I called) every time I "talk" to him. But she is totally back where we were at and had only peed in the Pull-Up one time in the past 4 days. Not too bad...I'm thinking if it keeps going this well we'll abandon the Pull-Ups sometime next week minus naps and nighttime. We're looking forward to a lot this 4th of July weekend so stay tuned for pictures! Uncle Mike and Aunt Cortny are in town from Seattle and Daddy has four days off work. Hooray!
