My week has been interesting. Last week, some other kids at the sitter had pinkeye, so I figured it was coming our way. And right I was...Tessa started with it Saturday and we started meds immediately. I had some leftover ointment from the last time she had pinkeye so that is where we began. But she is stronger this time and was really fighting it, so we headed to the doctor again on Monday after school because Morgan had started it as well. While we were there, they checked his ear infection from the week before and he still had an ear infection and it hadn't improved so they changed his antibiotics. I should have asked them to check Tessa's ears while we were there, but didn't.

So we headed home with new meds and plans for me to take Tuesday off. I thought I'd luck out with a snow day, but ended up having to use a sick day as Mason was pretty much the only school who had school. Tuesday night, Tessa started screaming that her ears hurt and was a clingy mess. The screaming and just laying there crying sent us to Children's Urgent Care where she too was diagnosed with an ear infection, this time a double one with "a lot of pus in one ear." Lovely. So we got another prescription and Nate headed off to the closest 24 hour pharmacy. As of today, we are pinkeye free! Hopefully the ear infections will clear up, though everyone has been pretty happy today considering. We have a big party this weekend...

A beautiful little girl I know is turning three and we want her to be well enough to truly enjoy her princess party, especially the visit from Snow White.

And on another note, isn't our dog a saint?
