The 4th

We didn't really do anything of great significance on the 4th.  That was the day we discovered Morgan's ear infection, so we kind of hung low.  We went to the gym in the morning to work out.  We went to the movie theater in the evening to see Madagascar 3 (free tickets, thanks Bruce!)  For dinner, we grilled out some nice steaks at home and played outside in the shade for a bit with sidewalk chalk paint.

Really a great, low-key day, though I'm sad to say we didn't even stay up for fireworks.  Tessa fell asleep on the way home from the movie and I laid in bed until Morgan fell asleep, which meant I also was passed out pretty early.  Maybe next year?
