Our Last Week of Summer :(

We tried to cram as much fun as possible in to our last week staying at home.  Which is somewhat of an oxymoron, as we rarely spent a whole day at home.  Regardless, Monday we hit up Run, Jump, and Play for free open play time.  The kids had a blast with the Polca girls, followed by lunch at Chick-fil-a.

We also had our last weekday visit to Kings Island (unless we decide to run up one evening after school).  We still have two months worth of K.I. before they close for the season, but we will miss the mornings when there are no lines.  These two cracked me up.  After they were done with rides for the day, they asked if they could go see a pony made out of a bush.  (Tessa actually called it a bush made out of a pony).  They were hysterical, hugging the pony.
Then, they proceeded to chase each other all around.  I love when they love on each other.

I also worked two full days this week for a Common Core workshop.  Monday is not an official workday, but I am meeting with my student teacher for a good chunk of the day and I have a one-hour PD technology workshop.  The kids start daycare bright and early Monday morning.  Tessa is excited to go back and especially to see her friends.  The verdict is still out on Morgan.  Hopefully they both have a good first day!
