Running Girl

Tessa has just begun a love for "racing" mommy around the house. It has actually come in handy when she is dawdling around somewhere. If you say "race" she speeds up a bit.

The Palmers have had a busy weekend. We spent yesterday morning goofing around in Fairfield while Nate's car got some new tires, an oil change, and various other updates. He wanted his car in tip-top shape for our trip to Charleston in two weekends.

Last night, Tessa had a practice overnight at my mom and dad's for her upcoming weekend stay with them. She was totally fine with me leaving her when I dropped her off, which was a little bittersweet. Nate and I headed to my friend Rochelle's house to help surprise her husband Ryan with a 30th birthday party. Fun was had by all, and Nate and I thoroughly enjoyed sleeping in and having a leisurely morning.

We're looking forward to the Bengals game and a quiet day at home. I'm thinking I'll even get out all my fall decorations this morning while I'm baby-free! Thanks, Mom and Dad!
