All Smiles!

We just started getting some real smiles from Morgan...and they couldn't be any sweeter. He honestly is the sweetest baby. I feel so blessed. (Or maybe he is just a normal baby and I have nothing to compare him to except for Tessa's extreme fussiness as an infant). Morgan is so chill. He rarely cries unless he is hungry, needs to be burped, or is getting tired..and is soothed almost immediately. His sleep is starting to get better too. He normally goes down for the evening around 8:30 or so, and gets up around 12/1 and again anytime between 3 and 5. Then he usually sleeps until 7. It is not too bad, though each time I am usually up for a good hour after he eats and I finally get him back to sleep. Hopefully he will be down to one nighttime feeding soon (is this too wishful of thinking?) Formula is going well. The whole mastitis experience (x2) really nipped breastfeeding in the bud, but he is doing great on the formula...and honestly it is much easier with Tessa too.

Yesterday Morgan was five weeks old! I feel like time is flying by already with him! I have a few more days until I return to work next Thursday, then five days of work. Speaking of work, this cute outfit was a gift from one of my students who stopped by last week to see Morgan. He is going to be one well-dressed young man with all these cute clothes that keep coming our way.
