Happy Memorial Day!

Nate's dad and his family came down from Detroit to meet Morgan this weekend and we captured a four-generation Palmer snapshot.

And here's a close-up of Morgan enjoying some tummy time. He tolerates it so much better than Tessa did, and especially enjoys it on the boppy.
On Thursday of this week, Tessa enjoyed a play date with Anna. Though the picture is dark (because all the lights were off when they were playing "night-night") you can see that they are best buddies.
And this one is perhaps my favorite. I was washing bottles the other afternoon and talking to Tessa and she was responding. Just a normal conversation. When I was finished, I turned around and looked for her but couldn't find her anywhere. So (even though I had just been talking to her) I kind of began to panic, as she recently figured out how to open doors. I kept calling to her and she finally said something so I knew she was inside, so I kept looking. Finally, I found her in the bathroom...staring at herself in the mirror. It was hysterical, and she especially hammed it up once she saw the camera.

It amazes me how big she is getting. Yesterday our neighborhood pool opened and I took her down. She wore her life vest and refused to let me touch her. She "swam" all by herself. I will have to bring down the video camera on our next trip.
