Lucy got another haircut. We totally love Susan, whom we found through our sitter, who was recommended by a former student of mine's mother. Did you follow that? Anyways, she has a shop in her garage and grooms three dogs a day. She does a fabulous job, is super flexible with our schedule (she lets me drop Lucy off at 6:45 before school and pick her up in the afternoon), and best of all, is half the price we were paying at Petsmart. Mommy also got a haircut, which I really liked until today when one of my students told me she thought I looked like Sarah Palin. Not exactly the look I was going for, nothing against Sarah Palin.
And Morgan has been introduced to his jumperoo. He loves it in there and is having a good 'ol time playing and watching all the new toys. Morgan also FINALLY rolled. He did it so casually over Labor Day weekend, rolling from front to back like he's been doing it forever. Now we have to get him going the other way...
And here he is with Sophie the Giraffe. A lot of mom message boards I read rave about Sophie and I never got Sophie for Tessa because she was pretty much over teething when I learned about her and $20 is an awful lot for a teething toy in my opinion. But alas, I purchased Sophie for Morgan this summer, and he is actually starting to like Sophie, especially chewing on her. I don't really think he is teething yet, but the pedi did seem to think he'd have some teeth by 6 months the way he was gnawing and by the feel of him gums. We'll see if he is right...
