Our neighborhood has a cute little Halloween parade followed by hot dogs and treats at the pool the day before Halloween. Last year we couldn't go, as our house was stricken by the flu. This year, we were all in good spirits and headed out for the parade. Morgan went as...Morgan, but was festive in his pumpkin hat. He did actually don a giraffe costume today (thanks, Megan) for about 15 minutes.

Tessa has been wearing her Snow White costume incessantly for the past 5 or 6 weeks. It is driving me NUTS! She insists on wearing it with no clothes on underneath now, which would be all fine and good if it weren't so darn cold outside. Then when we need to leave the house, a screaming match ensues, as she doesn't want to put on clothes underneath. So this evening, after trick-or-treating, the fairy Godmother came and took Tessa's Snow White costume away until Halloween-time next year (or perhaps forever?)

It was a great weekend, full of festive fall activities. It is ALMOST November, which means we are closer to December and CHRISTMAS! I love the holidays!
