Six Month Stats

This evening was Morgan's six month appointment and he is doing perfectly! He weighed just under 18 pounds (55%) and was 27.5 inches (85-90%). I'd been a bit concerned with a rash that comes and goes around his mouth, but the doctor said he's sure it is not allergies, but just irritation from the drool, formula, etc. We talked about his nighttime sleep (or lack thereof) and Dr. K strongly urged me to let him cry. Ironically, we said we were going o do just that last night and the little stinker only woke up one time. It's like he knew...
And Tessa was such a good big sister the whole appointment. She held Morgan's hand when the nurse came in to give him the shots and reassured him the whole time. Too cute. She was not too happy to see Dr. K, who stitched her up a little over a month ago. Here she is this weekend practicing with her safety scissors. I would love to say she is a skilled cutter, but not so much. Definitely an amateur. I am still finding little pink pieces of paper all over the house.
And this picture made me laugh, mostly because of what time it was taken. Any guesses?
5:30 a.m. More happens in our house before 8 a.m. than in most houses before noon. One day I'll be dragging my kids out of bed...and that can't come soon enough!

And on another random note, thanks to the pediatrics department of Group Health for hooking me up with a flu shot as well. I couldn't get an appointment with my doctor there until 12/4, which is a bit ridiculous in my opinion.
