Tessa had a great day at school today. I do love the fact that they are learning so much at school. The letter of the week is "J" and today they made "Joey" ears. I showed up to pick Tessa up from school today and all the kids were donning their Joey ears. Too cute! Tessa wore hers in the car, and continued to wear them at Lifetime, where we stopped to play indoor soccer. Both of them LOVE running around the turf field, playing a little soccer along the way.
It's really bright in there, so the lighting isn't great, but here is my little Joey at Lifetime.
And then we headed outside when we got back to Papa and Grandma's to complete this evening's homework assignment, her second so far this year. She was given a brown bag with the instructions to fill it up with things from nature. She LOVED doing it! We managed to find a nice variety: leaves, pine cones, one of those giant green, brain-looking things, some berries, flowers, and more. It was amazing how much she enjoyed it; we may have to do it again just on our own. The assignment sheet said they needed it for a project. I'm looking forward to seeing what it entails.

I think she could have filled up three bags instead of one. But one was good. And full. Very full.
