Oh, the Places We've Been

Gosh, these are from two weekends ago....I am very behind!  School is exhausting me and I just can't seem to keep up with the blog, kids who don't sleep, and being back at work.  Fun times.  To top it all off, this week the kids started back up with gymnastics in the evening on Wednesday, I had open house last night, and tomorrow I agreed to monitor the ACT.  (I will say it is going to be a very easy $125, but I'm not sure I really want to give up my Saturday morning now). Oh well, it is what it is!

Anyways, these are from a Dewey's fundraiser we attended with some friends.  The kids got to make their own pizza (well, actually we all did).  The Palmers finished with 4 large pizzas and are still eating it (from the freezer, don't worry).

We also celebrated Grandma's birthday over Labor Day weekend.  Dan, my parents, and our family went to Maggiano's for the official birthday celebration, but we also had Grandma and Papa over for dinner on Sunday and made a homemade salted caramel cheesecake.  Yummy!  I think this is the first time the kids helped me cook something from beginning to end and it still turned out looking pretty good.

And Labor Day itself was a rainy, rainy day.  I had heard about this new indoor play area in West Chester and decided to give it a whirl.  We spent two hours jumping, running, sliding and hiding through the indoor maze, play ground, and inflatables.

Overall, Jump and Jack's was a very nice place, but probably better suited for older kids.  Most of the inflatables were for older kids (like basketball hoops and things like that).  The playground was pretty awesome though, very clean, and fairly cheap...$12 for both kids for unlimited all-day play.  I still believe Run, Jump, and Play trumps this place, mainly because of the inflatables.  But still, fun was had by all!
