So, my mom found this great resale store in Fairfield and I was out that way Thursday night. I've been on the hunt for a cute Halloween costume for the little stinker, but didn't want to spend a lot of money, as I know she'll probably wear it for a few photos and that's about it. So, I found this cute lion costume at the resale shop and the price was $5. Perfect!
I buy it, don it on Tessa when we get home, and decide to put it in the washing machine. Bad idea. After it's run through the spin cycle and trip through the dryer, all the hair molded together....so the "lion" is no longer a lion, but instead a brillo pad. Let's just say, Lucy has a new $5 toy, and I am back on the hunt for a cute costume for Tessa.
