I love my toys!

Based on this picture, I think it's safe to say my living room looks like an ad for Toys 'r Us.  Tessa sure does love her toys, and also has the attention span of a puppy.  I feel like I am constantly buying new toys (mostly used) and she love, love, loves the new toy for a few days and then gets bored again.  Though, there are a few toys that seem to have some resiliency, even with Tessa.  Of these, pictured here, this most applies to the walker.  She can't even walk, but loves to sit in front of it and twirl, grab, and twist everything in sight.  Tessa also loves the book right next to her.  It is a cloth book with textured pages and crinkly sea creatures.  She loves to eat it.  I think the greatest two toys right now are perhaps my greatest cheap finds--kind of funny.  I got this Dance, baby Dance band for $5 off Craiglist (see entry from a couple weeks ago).  It is still a favorite and keeps her entertained for all those "cleaning" chores, like cleaning her ears, lotion, etc.  The other favorite is not in any pictures, but I'll have to post one.  It is an activity center that I bought at a children's consignment shop and she has loved it since day one.  It just got a whole lot cooler today though when I noticed that there was a place for batteries.  Now it lights up, spins, and plays music.  What could get better?

Anyways, I'm off to scour Craig's list for even more wonderful toys for the little lady.  Cheap is definitely the way to go!

Nah, she's not spoiled. Or overstimulated. Ha ha. Aunt Cortny is thrilled you're buying reused. :)
