Black Friday

What a great time I had at all the sales.  Too bad I can't post about my deals, as many of them are gifts for those who read my blog.  But...for myself, I bought the FLIP video camera for $79 at Walmart.  I've been wanting one every since I used the one we have at school back in August and am so excited.  I did wrap it already so I wouldn't be tempted to open it.

Here's a link to the website: The Flip

I got the white one.  Walmart was crazy!  I think the big items were TVs and I learned you are in a better place on Black Friday if you do not have a cart.  I managed to run to the electronics department and get the last Flip in white.  (I'm not as into the colored ones--I just can't see Nate using it).  I also picked up a couple of Disney movies for Tessa (101 Dalmations and Peter Pan).  Considering we own zero Disney movies, I thought it a good idea to start investing when they are cheap.

After Walmart, I hit up Target (present for Dan), the mall (presents for everyone else), and Meijer ( a $19 play kitchen for Tessa).  I'm a bit scared to check my credit card bill, so I'm waiting until Tuesday when I get paid.  That way, I only have to look at a high number for a brief second until I pay it off.

After all that shopping, I was exhausted.  Tessa, Nate, and I headed to Joseph Beth that afternoon to play.  (Tessa loved their train table).  Unfortunately, it was quite crowded, so we didn't stay as long as we normally do.  Oh well.  We've had a great long weekend.  It's been so nice having Nate home all these days in a row!

I like the new blog background. I had fun shopping with you. We make a good "shopping team."
