Last year we didn't go out for Halloween. At the time, Tessa was still going to bed around 6/6:30 and so it didn't really work out. This year though, she made if for about 45 minutes and looked awfully cute in the costume Grandma Bullock brought over as a treat today. Here we are with our next door neighbors. Tessa plays with Jacob a lot, but did NOT want to pose for this picture...
Lucy donned the hat from Tessa's costume, since Tessa refused to wear it.
Tessa and daddy playing before the fun began...
And she was really into holding the candy in her hands (and also trying to put it down her shirt) as in the photo below:
And finally, the little girl getting brave and actually going up to get candy from a neighbor.
Overall, this was a huge change from our last neighborhood's trick or treating. We went through a LOT of candy tonight, but fortunately I still have a couple bags to bring into school for rewards. Hopefully next year for Halloween Tessa will be feeling 100%. She is a lot better, but I think her poor ears are still bothering her. Let's hope this week is a better one healthwise, as mommy really needs to go back to work! I need those sick days for my maternity leave.

She looked adorable in her costume! It was fun watching her. Next year she will definitely enjoy it more and you will be catching after her.
I meant chasing after her!
