The New Furniture

Remember that new chair I just posted? How it was for the new baby? Yea, well, Tessa sems to think it is for her. She loves to sit in the chair when she gets to watch Barney each day. Dora also got to sit with her on this particular occasion. (Dora was in her stocking at my parents' house last weekend and has been a fast friend). The cool thing about the chair is it has a locking mechanism, so she can climb in and out safely as long as it is locked.

And here is our other new piece of furniture, delivered Saturday. I've wanted a china cabinet since March when we moved and we finally bought one last weekend amidst the December sales. There is some glare in the picture, but it does match our table perfectly. It was so nice to finally unpack the remaining boxes from our move...and now we finally have wine glasses out again (too bad I won't be able to use one for a few more months).
As for the ultrasound, everything looked perfect on Friday. Baby boy was between 12 and 13 ounces and everything looked great. He definitely was shy at first, but the tech still managed to determine the sex. Tessa seems to be excited. She went with us on Saturday to buy an outfit for the new baby, and while she was more interested in the princess cash register, she was totally okay with the checkout process when we bought a boy outfit and NO princess cash register. Happy last week of school until 2010!
