St. Nick came to visit the Palmer household (and came to Grandma and Grandpa's house too) later on in the day. St. Nick brought mommy and daddy a new glider for the family room. We thought this would be so nice to have with the new baby on the way, and it matches our furniture extremely well. Yea for Black Friday sales at Babies 'R Us. I have to brag a bit on this purchase...it was a $300 glider, on sale for 50% on the morning of Black Friday. Then they let me use an extra 20% off coupon I had, making it a grand total of $119. Totally worth it! And totally surprised they still gave me the deal since they were sold out (they had to order it)!
Potty training is still going well, though she still wears diapers most of the time. On Sunday she peed in the potty all day long and only wet one diaper. Not too bad. I'm really hoping to totally get her into undies over Christmas break while I am home with her. We'll see if I'm successful...
And ultrasound countdown...3 days! I found myself thinking about it constantly yesterday and am so anxious for it to be here and find out if Tessa will have a little brother or sister. The way things work at Mason Middle School is most of the teachers in one particular year seem to have babies of the same gender. For example, the year I had Tessa, there were maybe 9 of us pregnant, and I believe 8 of us had girls. This year seems to be another year of the girls for those who have found out so far, but we will see!
