Abby's 2nd Birthday!

Yesterday was one party followed by another. Tessa enjoyed Abby's second birthday party so much that when we asked her if she wanted to leave to go to another party, she kept saying, "No...this party." The theme was Spongebob, which Tessa has never even seen, but totally enjoyed all the Spongebob balloons and cake. Here's a quick photo with mommy. We actually took four of this same shot, and while Tessa isn't exactly looking at the camera, she is at least smiling...
Abby opening up some of her many presents!
Marmi got all the little kids a windmill thingy (not sure of their exact name) and Tessa really loved making hers move. That is, until it didn't work one time and she got frustrated and broke the stick in half. After that she only had the metallic part.
Of course the princesses came! Tessa was, as always, uber-possessive of her purse containing all the princesses.
A fun Saturday had by all, despite the rain. I guess it was actually nice we had so many things to do. Today I am really hoping she sleeps later than normal (in addition to the time change) and we can perhaps forego the nap. Two of my students are performing in the play Cinderella and invited Tessa and I to attend. Last night I asked her if she wanted to go see a Cinderella play since she loves the doll, but has never seen the movie and she said, "Go NOW." I guess that means she's interested.
