As you can tell from the photos, Tessa was all smiles during our play date with Anna. Anna, her mommy, and baby Avery all came over on Tuesday for an after-school playdate and Tessa was thrilled. Those two really are like best friends. It's pretty adorable. I ended up having a shortened work week due to Tessa coming down with a fever Wednesday night. I took her to the doctor this morning and we have yet another gross illness in our household - hand, foot, and mouth disease. The good thing is she has it in her mouth only and that it is spread only by saliva or snot, so I'm pretty sure no one else will get it (except maybe me since I seem to come into contact with all of her bodily fluids). But it is nice outside, and I am going to sit in a chair and grade papers while the little princess gets her beauty sleep...
