Tessa came with me to the dentist on Monday. It was her second time, and we made it special by planning a Mommy/Tessa date. I actually took her to the sitter in the morning so I could get some things accomplished around the house and then picked her up at 10:30. We enjoyed a mommy/daughter date at McDonalds and then headed to the dentist. She did much better this time 'round and actually sat in the dentist chair and laid back. She even let the dentist poke around in her mouth with the mirror. I was quite proud of her. I would say she just did it because she wanted to listen to her momma, but there was something else on the line: a Cinderella spin brush. Oh my! She loves this thing and brushes her teeth constantly. So I guess it was a win-win situation for us all!
