Happy 1st Birthday, Little Man!

What a wonderful, crazy weekend we had this past weekend, celebrating both Easter as well as our little guy's first birthday! We had two celebrations for Morgan, one on Easter Sunday with Nate's side and one Saturday night with my family as well as the Michigan Palmers and Mimi and Pop! He doesn't look thrilled in this picture, but it was about bedtime for this one year old...
The hit of the night was definitely this awesome car rampway and cars from Grandma and Papa. Morgan and Tessa both love it...this afternoon after I got home from school I definitely caught Tessa trying to send her miniature princesses down the rampway while riding on cars. Snow White and Cinderella have traded in their horse and carriages for sports cars!
This cute little cake toy sings the Happy Birthday song. It was Tessa's gift to Morgan. I just love how cute they are playing together right now.
And last but not least, is Morgan enjoying his birthday feast! We had chicken meatball pasta, a family favorite; Morgan dug right in to. And drumroll please....
my little gag-reflux-prone-never-thought-he'd-get-off-baby-food baby is on all people food and whole milk! Hooray! Now if only we could get him off the bottle, but I'm not holding my breath on that one...I still have pictures from celebrating with the Bullocks. Unfortunately, the pictures are on my camera and the cord to download them is in Minnesota.

Also, what do you think of the new background? I think I'm in love...it just seems so cheerful. Perhaps it will bring the sunshine with it? As Tessa would sing, "Rain, rain, go away. Come again another day!"

I can't believe he is one already! And I love that Tessa plays with his toys. As B gets bigger, Cate is taking more of an interest in some of the things we've gotten out for him to play with. Looks like he had a great birthday. I love your new background and am sick of this rain too. I hope you'll continue blogging once you move to Minnesota.

I most definitely will, in fact probably more since I'll have a little more time at home!
