When Did He Start Growing Up?

Most people who know me well know that the baby stage is not my favorite. If I could give birth to two-year-olds, I would probably have a few more kids. But alas, that is not how it works. Thankfully, Morgan is becoming more grown up every day. Finally, he is walking. He is eating popsicles. (Very messy, but he is trying)
He climbed into this chair at the library last week all by himself and proceeded to play while I read books to his sister.

He will sit on the couch with Tessa now to watch a show before bed or while I fix dinner. This is fabulous to me!! It has made preparing dinner so much easier!
Doesn't he look like such a big boy in the Mini Cooper? I took this pic for my older brother who has an adult size version :) BTW, this is not ours. We were at the toy store seeing what size bike Tessa will need. I think Santa is probably going to deliver a bicycle.
He is sitting in chairs too.
And earlier today he sat on the second step with Tessa and ate a morning snack with her. Not really at the table, but it sure was cute!
I love that he is getting older and starting to do some new things. Now if only I could harness his energy a bit, it would help when we are out in public. He is totally opposite in personality with Tessa in that he would wander far, far away from us and not have a care or concern where we are. Great for leaving him at the gym daycare. Not so great when we are at the zoo, pool, etc. and I am trying to keep them both entertained. Definitely looking forward to a weekend with Grandma and Papa. Morgan will have his own personal chaperone for the weekend!

I'm the opposite-- if I could give birth to babies and have them skip the year from 2.5-3.5, I'd have more. So glad we're coming out of that weird, defiant, whatever it is stage that plagues kids at that age. :-)

Morgan is getting big! It's like peeking into next summer for me when B will be all over the place.

PS...the last comment was mine, but Eric was still signed in. Sorry. Hope you're finding more fun things to do in MN.
