I almost didn't believe it when I saw "Mason City Schools: Closed" on the bottom of the screen as I ran on the treadmill this morning. But, sure enough, an hour later I received the confirmation phone call that yup, it was no longer a two-hour delay, but another day off school. Fortunately, the roads were good enough to get out a bit, so Tessa and I went to Joseph-Beth this morning with my mom and also ventured to the Children's Museum this afternoon. It was the least crowded it's ever been on a trip of ours, and she enjoyed the freedom it provided!

I'm glad she had fun at the museum. We do need to get back to work though.
