I kind of felt like a bad mother, as I had nothing new to post on Tessa's real birthday. The party is over, the cake has been eaten (well, smeared around), the presents have been opened...and I was actually at work and not with the little birthday girl for most of the day.
We tried another cupcake today (Kelly, her sitter, made cupcakes for everyone in honor of Tessa's birthday). The funniest thing about it was that I gave Tessa the cupcake near the end of her dinner. She threw pieces of cupcake on the ground, and then reached for more broccoli to eat. Obviously, she did not get that from neither Nate nor myself. We both have quite sweet teeth.
Anyways, I think she had a great birthday, all-in-all. We only had one cry today (she has this new trick where she begs to play in her crib and then likes to fall forward onto the mattress, only today she missed the mattress and hit the side of the crib...not sure we'll be playing that game again for awhile.) This video is of the new game (not today when she bonked her head).
