So, no new Tessa pictures today. I have been a bad mommy. I bring my camera everywhere and haven't managed to whip it out once in the past couple days. I had the perfect opportunity last night for some great photos at Pottery Barn Kids. We went there after dinner in hopes of finding the perfect gift for Tessa's cousin Erin, who will be turning six. Unfortunately, I was unable to find anything since Tessa didn't really let me shop. Instead, she found a very cool pram that she decided she wanted to push all around the store. We did this for a good 20-30 minutes, no joke, before I decided I really needed to find a gift to get her home for her ridiculously early bedtime (which I secretly love). I picked her up and bolted out of the store, while Tessa managed to scream her head off, kick and pound me. It might have been our first true temper tantrum in public. What fun! She recovered though by the time we made it to the escalator, and we were able to carry on with a bit of shopping.
The picture hiatus will end today, I promise, though tomorrow you should stay tuned to see a picture of me with either green or orange hair. Our school collected money through Pasta for Pennies and raised
almost 10,000 dollars. Our school goal was 3,000, so we far exceeded it. A number of teachers are dying/streaking/coloring...whatever...their hair to be orange or green, the colors of leukemia and lymphoma, respectively.
Our realtor, Amy, also made
this virtual tour of the new house, so feel free to check it all out. (And I think this will probably be the last house post too).
Have a great day! Laura
