Holiday Play-doh

Tessa looks angry in this picture, doesn't she? I promise she wasn't, because we were making these:
Tessa had a great time making Christmas trees, stockings, cookie-cutter letters, etc. with her play-doh the other evening. While she still does not identify any numbers (we tried really hard with the number three this particular evening) she is finally starting to identify some other letters. She can now point out T (Probably because it is the first letter of her name) and can also spell her name verbally. I figure we'll do the best we can with her letters until she starts preschool next year and hopefully she'll take off from there. My heart melted just a little bit when we made a stocking with her name on it and Tessa insisted we make one for Morgan too. So sweet! (Unfortunately, his name was too big to fit on a stocking, so we stuck with "M").
This weekend is already flying by, so I am counting down the days until my almost two-week break with my little ones!
