Merry Christmas!

Our Christmas miracle was both our kids sleeping until 6 a.m. (If you know anything about our children, it is sleeping in for both of them). Santa brought everyone some special toys, like this teether for Morgan.
On Christmas Eve night, Mommy stayed up quite late assembling the princess scooter from Grandma and Grandpa Bullock. Santa Daddy, on the other hand, was still recovering from his slipped disc and accidentally fell asleep while doing his back exercises. Whoops! Tessa loved the big dollhouse she had been asking for all year and feels like such a big girl having it in her room.
Even with all the goodies from Santa, she was still enamored with Snow White Barbie, taking her picture (along with everyone else's picture) with the digital camera from Aunt Stef and Uncle Jason.
She was so worn out that she actually wanted to take a nap over at my mom and dad's, which surprised me, as she can usually survive the day without one now.
That evening, the extended family on the Helmick side came over and I caught this pic with Grandma. (Morgan wasn't too happy, but Tessa was). My Uncle Tony dressed up as Santa for the party and did an awesome job. The kids loved him!
After three family Christmas celebrations and one visit to our house from Santa, we are STOCKED on toys for probably the rest of the year. Too bad we have a birthday coming up for Miss Tessa. I don't even know what she could possibly need, but perhaps the greatest present of all for her is going to be a visit from Snow White. I found this website through our district bulletin board of a local dance company that does princess birthday parties. They have four princesses available at a time to go to parties and fortunately, Snow White is one of the current ones. She will be coming to the party for an hour to lead the kids in princess songs and dancing, as well as do a small craft with them. I can't wait! Also, thinking if we do get her something, maybe a Fisher Price IXL (kind of like a Leapster). Anyone have one? Comments? Other toddler gaming systems you would recommend?
