Santa, Baby!

This week is going so much better than last week.  Last week was very trying for me, with four teeth coming in and the flu/virus Tessa had.  I was kind of feeling like a bad mommy.  She was so upset and grumpy and I felt like the only thing that made her happy was bathtime.  Never fear though, as my "fun mommy" status has returned!  The past two evenings, Nate has been working late and Tessa and I have been having so much fun together by ourselves!  Today I actually had her giggling so hard that when I eventually picked her up a few minutes after the gigglefest she was breathing so hard she sounded winded.  It was quite cute.

Three more days and counting until Christmas vacation and I get to spend a whole two weeks with Tessa.  I can't wait for her first Christmas.  I have probably gotten way more than necessary for an 11-month old who won't remember it (and I know I can say the same for my mom and probably Nate's mom as well), but it is so much fun to shop for her.  Nate and I also bought a treadmill today and are very excited about it.  We've been researching and wanting one for awhile, as we both feel like we've been getting a bit out of shape.  It is expected to arrive in 10 to 14 business days.  Yippee!
