Happy second birthday to my sweet baby girl! Hard to believe you are two (tomorrow, technically, but I was inspired tonight)! You have brought so much joy to our lives...I'll archive some of my favorite recent memories for my princess:
-saying "I do it" to everything and "I help" anytime I'm doing something
-how you watch me cook dinner from a chair and love to put everything in a bowl
-swimming in your bubble baths
-how you bring me coffee (and even say coffee) in one of your play mugs every time we play kitchen
-all the words you are picking up and how you say new ones each day
-when you tell daddy, "make the bed" in the morning
-how you kiss the baby in mommy's belly every day
-how when you change your baby doll, you always make sure to wipe several times
-the kisses you give me on the lips when you want something
-how you've actually really learned the color white and what is white because of the movie Snow White and your obsession with it
-wearing your princess shoes so much you're starting to get blisters, but refusing to take them off
And for those of you who'd like a more statistical update, Tessa's two year stats came in at a height of 36.5" (over 100th% - where did she get that height?), a weight of 30.5 pounds (90%) and a head circumference around the 60th percentile. Doc said she is doing great! And since we've already celebrated, I'll have to think of something impromptu to do in honor of the big day tomorrow!
