Tessa LOVES the zoo. All winter long, when we had constant snow on the ground, she asked to go to the zoo daily. Now, it is a surefire way to get her out of the house, dressed in whatever you want her to wear, etc. It really might be one of her favorite places. She particularly loves the elephants, giraffes, polar bears, and cats. Tessa also gets a kick out of the fact that there is a giraffe named Tessa. (I don't know if she really gets that or thinks I'm teasing her when I tell her the giraffe's name, but she always gets a huge smile). We had planned to go again this morning with the Polca family, whom Tessa had a fun play date with yesterday, but due to the rainy forecast, I'm not so sure that's going to happen. Maybe this afternoon...though I do have a dinner date with some women from the neighborhood.
This has shaped up to be a wonderful spring break. Lots of outside time, some pampering, some minivan test driving (who knows if we'll actually get one, but I found one I really, really like!) The only bad thing - not much progress on the baby front. By this point with Tessa I was dilated 2 centimeters and ready to go according to my doctor. Not so much this time...I think he's going to stay in there until a bit closer to the actual due date (or please no, even past the due date).
