Tessa is very excited for Easter, as she keeps telling me the Easter Bunny is going to bring her presents. She even called the Easter Bunny (aka my mom with a "disguised" voice) and told the Easter Bunny that she wanted the Belle movie. Fortunately, Beauty and the Beast is in my secret stash downstairs and was going to be one of her gifts for when the baby arrives. I guess I'll make an exception and put it in the Easter basket. She is going to be SO excited! We dyed eggs last weekend, and Tessa thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Of 12 eggs, she only cracked one. Not too bad considering she wasn't exactly gentle when putting them in.
And here's a preview of one of her Easter dresses. Nate's mom got her this adorable dress and Tessa gave it a trial run for church last weekend. Since then, she's tried to wear it two other times. Such a girly girl!
Today we are planning to go to the Deerfield Township egg hunt at Cottell Park right by our house. There's also a neighborhood hunt (rescheduled from last weekend) that may or may not work, depending on naptime. Throw in a wedding shower for me to attend and it's going to be a busy day.
