Edit note: The pictures didn't work the first time, so they are all at the top. I think you can figure out which description goes with which picture :)The Easter bunny was very good to Tessa this year. We had a busy day, starting with our very own egg hunt around our house at 5:45 am when she awoke. Tessa was really into it, and found several eggs. Then, when the real thing came at Nate's mom's house, she preferred climbing up and down the walk-out stairs from their basement. (Morning pictures to come...I still need to download them and my camera battery is charging. The afternoon pics came from my mom). Oh well. After brunch and an egg hunt over there, we headed home for a very sub-par nap and anxiously headed over to my Aunt Sally's. Much to our surprise, Tessa was in a great mood over there and had a lot of fun playing with Ellie, who is perhaps the most well-behaved and well-spoken three year old I know. She was adorable leading Tessa all around the house, helping her find toys, and showing her what to play with. It was very cute!
After Tessa's separation anxiety from mommy has reached a new all-time high, my mom was happy to get a photo with Tessa where she was smiling and perfectly content to sit on her lap, even with me in the room. (Normally she does great with my mom as long as I'm not around).
And here is just one of the many toys Ellie shared with Tessa. I wish I had one of her playing with the Thomas the Tank engine car. It was her favorite toy of the evening.
Today is my full week of spring break and I have a lot of big plans for T-Bear and me. Today we are taking a free Gymboree class. I'm sure she is going to love it! Other plans for the week include: the zoo, children's museum part II (We already went Friday), and hopefully a lot of time outside. Tessa will also be spending Thursday with my mom so I can go to the dentist and get the brakes on my car replaced. Sounds like an exciting day, huh?
