Happy Easter!

Two weeks ago, Tessa was sick.  One week ago, Nate was sick.  I (stupid me) bragged about how I was now immune to their sickness.  Yuck!  I feel horrible.  I slept maybe 2-3 hours total last night.  There was a lot of flopping back and forth, and I finally gave up around 3:30, read Real Simple, and am now downstairs (at 4:45 am).  I just finished spackling all the holes in the dining room.  Next up is covering them with the paint.  I'm thinking this should be an easy fix.  The spackle is done, and in about 15 minutes, I'll try covering with paint.  Fortunately, the previous owners left the paint, so I'm hoping it looks good when all said and done and won't have to be a complete repaint job.  Yesterday we painted Tessa's playroom.  It is a somewhat bright teal.  I love it!  Pictures to follow...

We also have a house guest for the week.  Libby (Tessa's babysitter's dog) is spending the week with the Palmer family while they are in Gulf Shores, Alabama.  So far, she and Lucy are getting along splendidly.  This morning though, I did discover when I came down to let the girls out that Libby has been sleeping on our couch.  Don't tell Nate!
