Tessa has been participating in the summer reading program at the Symmes library, where for every five books that are read to you, a prize may be selected from the treasure chest. Now, Tessa would be earning a prize or two a day, so I just fill out five bubbles for our weekly trip to the library for story time, and she picks out her prize that day. Her first prize, which she has become somewhat attached to, is a froggy bath toy. I think she misses the different consonant sounds of "f" in froggy and "d" in doggy because she says "woof woof" when I ask her what sound her froggy makes. Ah well...all in good time. Her second prize, which is actually the first picture, was a zebra temporary tattoo. She did not like the process of putting it on, but loved her tattoo. For days, you could ask her, "Tessa, where's your zebra?" And she's get the cutest little grin on her face and point to her tattoo. It is almost completely washed away now...I hope she isn't too sad when it is no longer there. Maybe she'll pick another one next week!
