Today is one of those days where Tessa is tired and cranky and doesn't want to sleep. She is fussy and crabby...and did I mention tired? She was so tired after waking up that she fell asleep in the stroller about an hour later and slept for about 40 minutes. Then, she was yawning over and over again while eating lunch, so I took her upstairs for her nap, read some books, rocked her for a few minutes, and put her down. Where she continues to scream endlessly. Why won't my child sleep when she is tired? Ugh, so frustrating. Maybe I should make an appointment with one of those sleep specialists? I'm not sure they even exist in Cincinnati, but I do know they are out there.
Lucy, whom I love dearly, also decided to be a peach today (note sarcasm here). Lucy ate both her food, as well as Libby's (which she managed to knock off the patio table - I wish I had this on videotape, as the bowl was in the middle of the table and I can't imagine how she did it), plus an entire bowl of water. Then she proceeded to vomit from the landing down the lower half of the stairs. Wonderful. Fortunately I was able to distract Tessa with Baby Einstein while I tackled the carpet stain. Libby, on the other hand, has been very good today. No complaints there.
I took this picture yesterday of Tessa with her two doggies. She really enjoys that there are two dogs at Casa Palmer this week, and we enjoy having Libby too. She is an easy dog. Sorry about the rant, but like I said, it's just one of those days. Here's hoping for a good nap...blogging managed to distract me from the crying and I think (fingers crossed) she has fallen asleep!

I think Tessa is in the picture with 3 doggies! I hope she naps for me next week.
