Welcome Home Mike and Cortny!

My favorite thing to do is ride on Lucy. I think she likes it.
This scene was totally created by Tessa while I was doing some work on the computer the other morning. All of a sudden I looked up and saw her dolls in her own high chair with some play cookies. And she was feeding the cookies to the dolls. Seriously, what could be cuter?

I've been kind of bad recently with taking videos, but actual shots just seem to be easier for me. Today, we had an awesome day. Tessa was in a great mood. We went for a long walk, played at Gymboree, grocery shopped, napped, picked up my rings from the jeweler (they were rhodiumed...so clean and shiny!), and headed to my parents to see my brother and sister-in-law, who came in for my cousin's wedding tomorrow. I think it was the first time they've come to visit from Seattle when she hasn't been extremely grumpy/fussy. It was nice for them to see happy Tessa. They took a jaunt to Jungle Jim's with the parents, and Tessa and I headed to the Ark wet playground at Winton Woods that my mom had taken her to last week. We had a BLAST! That place is so much fun. Tessa even got brave and did the water slide. I had to go down with her, as it was an enclosed tunnel and kind of high, but she loved it. I swear we did it at least 15 times in a row, and although I hadn't planned on getting wet myself, I still had a good time and I definitely ended up soaking wet. The evening concluded with Larosa's and good family fun, where Nate joined us.

She was in a great mood yesterday...yay! We just went to the wet playground at Woodland Mound. So fun! And I love that shot of her feeding the cookies to her dolls.
