Congratulations are in order for Mary, my best friend from high school, who graduated from med school last week and is about to start her residency at Vanderbilt. We had a great time celebrating with her at her parents' house this weekend! Morgan enjoyed being held...
while Tessa preferred playing with this doll house. In fact, she didn't want to leave and even played with two older girls the majority of the time we were there. Once she even asked me to go away because she was playing with the girls. Is this my Tessa? Yet another sign she is growing up! On another note, my dad made a dollhouse like this for me when I was younger (though not quite as young as Tessa). It has been sitting in our basement since we moved here and I think it might be time to update it a bit and perhaps let Santa bring it this year. After this party, it was very clear to us that she will love it!

Cate is getting a dollhouse from Santa this year too! Our friends have the Fisher Price Loving Family Dollhouse and Cate loves it! I have a wooden one from childhood as well, but it's smaller and has some fragile pieces...so I don't think she'll get that one until first or second grade, which is how old I was when I got it.
I can't believe how big she's getting. Morgan seems like a very chill little man.
