It's only appropriate that I include a picture of Morgan on his tummy to discuss his recent tummy troubles. For the past three days or so, he has been super fussy on the bottle and VERY, VERY gassy. I can't seem to figure out why. We haven't changed formulas, bottles, etc. Everything eating wise is the same. The only thing we have managed to figure out are some solutions to managing the gas, like Mylicon before feedings, more frequent burping, and bicycling his legs when he gets gassy. He also likes to eat in pretty much a horizontal position now, otherwise he fusses a lot. I called the doctor's office to see if they thought we needed to try a new formula and they said no since he's been on Similac Sensitive for over a month and hasn't had any trouble. Any other ideas out there, fellow mommies? Would love to help solve his gaseous problems...
And of course, he likes laying on his belly too, which seems to help the gas come out. My poor little man!
