Trip to the Park

I was feeling brave yesterday (and also a little mad at myself for losing my patience with Tessa the day before when she wouldn't listen) so I rewarded her with a trip to the park. I was a tad nervous about the heat and having Morgan in the sun if he got fussy. Fortunately, he slept most of the time and stayed content while sucking his pacifier for the rest of the time, completely shaded for our whole visit.

Tessa, on the other hand, was everywhere. Despite my attempts at getting a photo of her smiling, I instead give you a picture of her running,
a picture of her climbing,
and a picture of her sliding.
Can you tell she had a good time? She was so tired she took almost a 3-hour nap afterwards (and Morgan did too). I didn't know what to do with myself...

So far, summer vacation is off to a nice start, though it is basically like an extended maternity leave because I don't feel like I ever went back to work!
