I feel like a blogging slacker, but I'm going to blame it on the last few days of school. I am exhausted from them! Monday, my team walked a mile and a half to a park near downtown Mason and played homeroom competition games for the day, followed by some free time, where I played soccer with a big group of students. I realized I am not in nearly as good of shape as I used to be, but it was still fun...
Tuesday we had school-wide field day. Not nearly as exhausting, but quite hot outside. Tessa came to visit me for an hour at school while my sitter when to her daughter's field day at the intermediate building. It was fun to see her during the day, but it definitely wreaked havoc on her nap schedule for the day. She was so tired after our afternoon visit to the pool that she took a nap on top of me while I watched the news for an hour. She hadn't slept on me in a long time, so it was awfully sweet!
Yesterday was the final day of school. This year flew by, but I'm hoping summer doesn't! Looking forward to almost three months of fun (along with the tears and temper tantrums) with Tessa. And here's just a few pictures I took the other evening. I promise to get some good pictures and videos in the coming weeks. I'll have a lot more time on my hands!
