Trip to the Zoo

Sorry for the belated blog update, but this video was from last Thursday. My mom headed to the zoo with me and Tessa for the morning, where we wandered around to all of the different animals, and also spent some time with the goats (or dogs, according to Tessa). We also rode the train for the first time, and to our surprise, Tessa actually sat still and didn't try to get up for the entire train ride. Unfortunately, she was sitting on the wrong side of the train for duck viewage (a new favorite animal), but she did get to see the zebras and flamingos. Fun times!

The zoo opened its new entrance (for those who haven't seen it yet) and I was a little perturbed. You have to park on the opposite side of Vine Street and then take an elevator or escalator to cross Vine Street. Unfortunately there are a lot of strollers at the zoo and only two elevators. It wasn't even crowded when we went and we still had to wait. I can only imagine what the Festival of Lights will be like...

P.S. The monkeys in the background are hysterical. They were waiting to be fed.

I like the pic from yesterday with the computer... It looks like Tessa is very hard at work!

I agree, Sarah. I have that picture as my background right now. And, Laura, the zoo was fun, hot, but fun!
